Starter page

For my Web Based Software class, we had to create Starter pages and link them to 2 other starter pages. This means that starter page 1 had to link to 2 and 3; 2 had to link to 1 and 3; and 3 had to link to 1 and 2. Sound confusing?! It was at first, trust me. It was very difficult for me because before this class I had never been introduced to any sort of website-design software. It was all very new for me and there were a few tears... but I got through it with flying colors, and I think it turned out pretty good! I came up with the content of the pages myself, which are about Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. After I came to understand it more clearly, I had a lot of fun messing around and having fun with it.

Site Map

I created this site map in my Web Based Software class. It was very easy to do in Illustrator. This site map is based off of my Personal Homepage, done in Dreamweaver. I simply looked at my Dreamweaver homepage and created a site map based on it! This is what websites would look like if you broke them down into maps of their own. Very easy!

Personal Home Page

This assignment was created in my Web Based Software Class. For this assignment we had to create our own personal homepages. It could be basically about anything we wanted, but needed to have some of the same characteristics on the linking pages. This assignment was mainly for practice, so we would have more knowledge on how Dreamweaver worked. I learned how to link a homepage to several other pages. It was difficult and frustrating at first, but after I got the hang of it, it was a delicious piece of cake!

Chili Pepper Assignment

I created this Red Hot Chili Pepper page in my Web Based Software class using Dreamweaver. For this assignment we had to link it to external URLs and/or email. As you can see, I linked it using the Red Hot Chili Peppers website. We also had to create our own header using a free photo supplied to us by istockphoto. Then, we simply Photoshopped it accordingly, put some text in it, and sized it down to the given dimensions. AP Div tags were also used in creating this page. I had a lot of fun doing this! It was new and exciting!

First post for Web Based Software

Hello everyone! For my Web Based Software class, we had to create our own Blogger.com accounts. This is my first post on Blogger.com!
